Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms cover your use of Splitsy Club. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Splitsy Club.
What Splitsy Club is
Splitsy Club is a place to find people nearby to split bulk purchases. We aren’t a store, we don’t sell or deliver anything, and we don’t handle payments. Each splitsy is an arrangement between the people in it.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older to use Splitsy Club. Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
Hosting and joining
- Hosts buy the item themselves, with their own store membership, and should follow that store’s rules.
- Describe the item, price, pickup time and place honestly, and keep your group informed if anything changes.
- When you join, you’re agreeing to pick up and pay for your share as described. Settle payment with the host directly.
- Prices and sales tax shown in Splitsy Club are estimates. The store receipt is what counts.
Community rules
Don’t post anything illegal, unsafe, misleading or abusive; don’t harass people; don’t use Splitsy Club to resell for profit, spam, or collect other people’s information; and don’t try to break or misuse the app.
Hosts can remove members from their groups. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You own what you post. You give Splitsy Club permission to store and show it in the app so the service works. You’re responsible for having the right to post it, including any photos.
Disputes between people
Splitsy Club isn’t part of the arrangements people make with each other. If something goes wrong with a splitsy, such as a no-show or a payment problem, sort it out with the people involved. You can report someone through Contact.
No warranties; limits on liability
Splitsy Club is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, or that any person will do what they said. To the extent the law allows, Splitsy Club isn’t liable for losses that come from using the app or from dealings with other people.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we’ll change the date at the top, and continuing to use Splitsy Club means you accept the new terms. You can stop using Splitsy Club at any time and ask us to delete your account.
